It seems as though smartphone manufactures are eager to facilitate everything that we do in our lives from booking a flight to searching for restaurant to now even opening our car doors with smartphones. South Korean Hyundai Motor Company has interestingly predicted smartphones to be developed in such a way that they become replacements to car keys. All this will happen by 2015. Not only will doors be swung open, but engines could be started with near-field communication tag.
Besides all this, the very “super” smartphone that these innovative market experts predict about will be able to automatically detect a phone to stream our favourite music, phone contacts and radio station preferences without a hurdle. The settings at the seat and mirror sides will also change accordingly with the driver and passengers.
There will be no need of re-charging because the battery will wirelessly charge positioned at the centre console. Hyundai is interested in such a “super” smartphone and wants to get consumers excited about such a product in the very near future, likely by 2015.
According to Hyundai Motor Europe’s official:
“With this technology, Hyundai is able to harness the all-in-one functionality of existing smartphone technology and integrate it into everyday driving in a seamless fashion.”
It sure would be wonderful to be able to have such an all-connecting device at hand, but what about any fallout? Could there be anything wrong in having so much in one place?
