Shortly after the announcement of Galaxy Xcover 2, Samsung revealed another mid range Android smartphone, the Galaxy Express, designed for young social explorers.
Design-wise, the Galaxy Express strongly resembles Samsung’s popular flagship Galaxy III. On front of this device features superb 4.5 inch VGA Super AMOLED plus capacitive touch screen display (480 x 800 pixels) and LTE support.
Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, this device is powered by a1.2 GHZ dual core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
When it comes to connectivity, Galaxy Express is an all rounder device as it comes packed with Samsung’s innovative sharing capabilities, including Alls share Play, S Beam, Mobile High Definition Link, Near Field Communication, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.
On camera front, Galaxy Express houses a 5 megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash along with a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling.
Galaxy Express is embedded with Samsung specific services and apps such as ChatOn, Mobile communication services, Game Hub, Video Hub, Music Hub and Readers Hub.
The Galaxy Express pack-in an 2,000mAh battery and offers all the goodies of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean along with Samsung TouchWiz UI on top.
Overall, the specs point towards a solid mid-range handset added to Samsung’s growing catalogue of smartphones.
