Windows Phone 7.8 update is now available for Windows Phone users throughout the world. Windows 7.8 update will be rolling out in February for the phones currently running Windows 7.5. The update promises a number of new features including the ability to resize your tiles, new lock screen options, and more theme colors. Windows Phone 7.8 is already being shipped pre-loaded on the Nokia Lumia 510 and other phones in the Nokia Lumia family. The users review on the Windows 7.8 are quite optimistic.
Nokia has already done extensive debugging and testing of the OS and update notifications will begin to appear for Nokia Lumia 510, 610, 710, 800 and 900 users in the month of February. You could update your Windows Phone by plugging your phone to PC via Zune or the Windows Phone App for Mac and follow the onscreen instructions.
Along with the major system updates, there are numerous exciting new features introduced to Nokia Lumia. These features include Internet sharing, Bluetooth sharing, imaging enhancements like Camera Extras, and apps such as Contact Share, Play To and Nokia City Lens that are now available.
The Nokia Lumia experience increases greatly with the new Windows Phone 7.8. To make sure you get the notification for update Go to Settings > Phone Update > “Notify me when new updates are found”.
