Sony Xperia E and E dual Affordable Smartphones

Following the Xperia J, Sony introduces another low-mid range smartphone, the Xperia E, before it runs out of alphabets. A dual-SIM model is also available and is called Xperia E dual, which allows users to switch between SIM cards with a simple touch. The two new Xperias have a similar design as the Xperia J.

The Xperia E is the little brother of the Xperia J, but getting a smaller screen and low resolution camera. Like its brother, the handset is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor and 512MB of RAM. The Xperia E sports a 3.5-inch 320×480 capacitive touchscreen and a 3.2 Megapixel camera. You can expect Bluetooth, WiFi as well as DLNA for wireless media streaming. Interesting, the Xperia E is shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and the E dual runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich instead. Both of them comes pre-loaded with Walkman music player with xLOUD and 3D surround sound enhancement, and feature HD Voice and noise cancellation for crystal clear calls.
