Following the Connect 4G and Motion 4G, MetroPCS adds to its 4G LTE lineup another device from LG. Known as Spirit 4G, it is a budget-friendly mid-range smartphone with a big screen, LTE 4G connectivity and sleek, stylish design. It comes pre-loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with LG’s custom user interface.
The Spirit 4G packs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4.5-inch touchscreen wih Gorilla Glass, 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for self portrait and video chat. The main camera is capable of Full HD 1080p video recording and features Cheese Shutter and Time Catch Shot. The phone comes pre-loaded with LG’s QuickMemo for on-screen notation to express and share ideas.
The LG Spirit 4G smartphone is available from MetroPCS for $199 after mail-in rebate without contract. Users can join MetroPCS’s unlimited 4G LTE talk, text and data plan for $60.
