Samsung Galaxy Pop SHV-E220 Heading to Korea with Quad-core

Samsung Galaxy Pop SHV-E220 Heading to Korea with Quad-core
Back in October, Samsung brought the Galaxy Premier to Eastern Europe market. Now, the Korean electronic giant is bringing back the phone to its home country and gives it a new name and spec bump. The Korean version is called Galaxy Pop (model SHV-E220 aka Superior), and will sport a quad-core CPU instead of a dual-core on the Premier. Needless to say, the handset follows the design of the Galaxy S III but is slightly smaller.
To “make it more like a fashion statement’, the Galaxy Pop will be available in Korea in multiple colors. It sports a 1.4Ghz Exynos 4412 quad-cire processor and runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean software. You can find a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel rear camera, 2 Megapixel front-facing camera, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi connectivity. Built for Korean market, the phone also packs T-DMB mobile TV tuner. It supports 4G LTE network.
The Samsung Galaxy Pop will be available from SKT, KT and LG U+. It comes in 8GB and 16GB models. A flip cover will be included with the phone.
